Great Monday! I hope and pray you had a restful and relaxing weekend. If your weekend was stressful, busy, or the opposite of relaxation, I’m praying our Heavenly Father will give you rest and will replenish and revive your spirit. It’s Monday! We have been blessed to see another day! Below are 3 tips to help you make your Monday great! Visit my website for devotionals, images, resources, and more to encourage you to make every day count. It’s Monday…..already! Let’s walk in freedom together! Your sis, Rhovonda ****** 3 Tips to Help Make Your Monday Great: 1. Ask for help! Don’t be too prideful to ask for help. Don’t try to do everything on your own. When you’re facing a difficult task or unsure about which path to take, ask the Lord for guidance. “My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Ps. 121:2, NKJV) 2. Rejoice and give thanks in all things! Don’t waste time complaining or moping. It won’t do you any good. Pouting may make matters worse. Instead, rejoice in the Lord. Give Him thanks for all He has done and for all He will do. Having a spirit of gratitude will shift your focus to positive thoughts. “Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice!” (Phil. 4:4, AMP) 3. Be open today! Be open to forgive. Be open to listen and open to learn. Remember, you don’t know everything and you’re not always right. Don’t let past mistakes of others and misunderstandings hinder you from mending broken relationships and broken lines of communication. Instead of making it your mission to win the argument, be quiet and listen. Try to put yourself in the other person’s shoes. “Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.” (Eph. 4:31-32) http://www.rhovondalbrown.com/single-post/2016/08/08/Its-MondayAlready http://ow.ly/i/ovpXS
