Pastor Jeffrey Brown accepted the Lord's call as a minister and was licensed to preach in 1997. He was ordained in 2000 by Rev. Felton Joseph, who was then the Senior Pastor of Blue Run Baptist Church in West Columbia, Texas. Pastor Brown was an active member heavily involved in the Youth and Young Adult ministry. While at Blue Run, Pastor Brown was elevated to Youth Pastor and associate minister.
In 2003, Pastor Brown and his family relocated to Houston, Texas, and united with Family of Faith Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas, where Dr. B. Patrick Glenn and Pastor Jeanie Glenn are the Pastors. While under their leadership, Pastor Brown earned his Bachelor's Degree in Theology in Religious Education from Gospel Ministry Outreach Theological Institute. He returned the following year to obtain his Master's Degree in Theology. While serving at Family of Faith, Pastor Brown was the Youth Pastor, associate minister, and Elder. Pastor Brown ministered faithfully under Dr. Glenn and Pastor Jeanie Glenn until the Lord placed him on a new journey and elevated him to pastor The Sanctuary Christian Fellowship Church. Through the direction of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Brown and Pastor Rhovonda began The Sanctuary Christian Fellowship Church.
With simplicity, Pastor Brown brings the Word of God to life, making it relevant to anyone's situation. He is an anointed, powerful preacher, teacher, and singer who enjoys lifting up the name of the Lord and uplifting the body of Christ. Pastor Brown devotedly shows Jesus' love to everyone he meets and he reminds them just how special they are in God's eyes.
Pastor Jeff's favorite scripture is Isaiah 65:24, "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear" (KJV).
