Pastor Rhovonda L. Brown
Co-Founder/Co-Pastor
Rhovonda is a preacher, teacher, and award-winning author who engages her audience with transparency and relatability. She is passionate about inspiring women and children to see themselves as God sees them. She is the founder/CEO of a nonprofit, The Pillar of Hope, and Rhovonda L. Brown Enterprise LLC, a multi-service faith-based business that provides author coaching, consultation, web design, and more for women, authors, and entrepreneurs.
Rhovonda is the executive director of our women's ministry, Martha & Mary Ministries, Walking in Freedom! â„¢ (M3), host of the annual Walking in Freedom! Workshop.
Rhovonda is an educator with a Master of Education - Curriculum & Instruction and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Rhovonda has been preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 2008.
Min. Sheila Brown-Lake
Associate Minister/Hospitality
Min. Sheila's favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." She was called into the ministry in 1983 and has been serving the Lord ever since.
Min. Sheila is known to some as "EB" for Evangelist Brown, and her calling is a prayer warrior. Min. Sheila invites you to join her every Sunday morning for Power Hour.

Min. Sheila is also the founder of 2/5 Ministry, a community outreach ministry of The Sanctuary Christian Fellowship Church. The 2/5 Ministry is derived from Luke 9:16-18, whose mission is the feed the HUNGRY not just the homeless.

Min. Marlene Carthen
Associate Minister/Outreach Ministry
In 2003 she accepted Jesus as her savior and He began a restoration process in her. She joined Firewheel Church in Dallas, Texas and became an AWANA Bible class teacher to children 7-12 years old. In May of 2009, she was called into ministry at the Family of Faith Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas. In January of 2013 her steps were guided to The Sanctuary Christian Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas to continue her spiritual growth and journey. In conjunction with her ministry she periodically volunteers with KSBJ as a prayer team member, she also volunteers with All for One and One for All feeding the homeless.
Min. Marlene was ordained in 2015 by Pastor Jeffrey Brown.

Sis. Josaulyn Hoskins
Director of Christian Education
Josaulyn Hoskins, a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, accepted the Lord at an early age. She fell in love with the word of God and began reading and studying what it said as a way to know God. She began teaching various small group studies in church, Ladies Missions groups and later evolved to such studies as ‘Beth Moore’s Esther, Its Hard Being a Woman,’ ‘ Mended by Angie Smith,’ and ‘Heaven by Randy Alcorn,’ to name a few.
Josaulyn earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston. She also earned a Bachelor of Science from the College of Biblical Studies and thus obtained the background and additional training needed to effectively teach the word.
Bro. Kaleb Brown
Director of Music
Kaleb has been playing musical instruments since he was 10 years old. He is an accomplished vocalist, guitar player, bass guitar player, and trombonist performing regularly in his community. Kaleb has performed as part of the Bellaire High School Choir, Bellaire Cardinals High School Band, Bellaire Jazz Band, and the Bellaire Concert Guitar program.
Kaleb has worked as an after-school music teacher for Southwest Elementary school and is currently a guitar and bass guitar teacher for the School of Rock West University Place. He is devoted to helping students attain musical proficiency. As an instructor, Kaleb guides students one-on-one to personalize learning, inspire confidence and build social skills.
Kaleb is a remote student of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, pursuing a degree in music education and a minor in vocals. His favorite scripture verse is: "Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done." -Philippians 4:6 NLT
